On why continuing with Christmas tradition is vital

You’ll be amazed to recognize how time flies in the blink of an eye. I think that it was just yesterday that we were observing Christmas and today, a good part of the year is over. I am regularly reminded at how age is catching up and I despise it every time I look at the added wrinkles found on my face. But that’s part of the natural ageing process than none of us can get away from, nicely if you don’t decide to meddle with nature and do such things as cosmetic surgery. My dream of course, would be to remain youthful and look as Martha Stewart but I reckon I have to drain up all my savings to be competent to afford that.

If there is one part of the year where I love the most, it’ll be Christmas. My great memories of Christmas started all the way back ever since I was youthful where it is the only time of the year that I get to see all the gingerbread biscuits and candy cane sweets. Until today, such memories stay vivid in my thoughts and I constantly told myself that the kind of sweet tradition is something which has be inherited.

Present giving is one custom that consistently makes Christmas so entertaining. Those individuals who are not close to me frequently label me as cheapskate when they understand that I do not shop any time other than Christmas. But that’s only half of the graphic as I actually pile up all my savings and splurge during the holiday shopping season. Not everyone will be competent to develop such habit as there will be many temptations that come along the way plus some of them are genuinely irresistible.

Putting up pleasant vacation decoration is one family custom that’s existed in my own family ever since my grandfather’s time. Simply to put things in appropriate context, I come from a large family where my grandparents had 6 children. Now that all of them are married, half of them are blessed with 3 children while another half are blessed with 4 kids. What makes our holiday ornamentation convention pleasure is that every year, we will pick one of our houses to function as venue for our family’s Christmas assembly. 2 or 3 weeks before our assembly, all the kids and whoever can make it, will assemble and work collectively to put up the decoration. Presuming back, I think I ‘ve tons of caring memories of our time spent together.

Christmas - 9

I understand we are all active with whatever we are doing and thinking about Christmas is not something we do before the month of December. I think it is necessary to keep the Christmas tradition living and it is the best time of the year to bring families together and hammer closer ties. If you have not had a good memory of Christmas, it may be time that you pause whatever you are doing in life and give it a serious consideration. There is so much that can be done during the jolly season but nothing will occur until you dedicate the efforts.
